With the tail of Hurricane Fran whipping-up havoc in Lake Ontario and Eastern Ontario in general, it was great to see that only three entrants failed to get to the meet.
Thanks to a number of dedicated helpers the swim was a great success - thanks to everyone . . .
The water temperature was the warmest ever at 23.5-deg.C and the air temperature was equally balmy at 20-deg.C. Consequently, it was not surprising to see a few records fall:
